VIDEO - PERU, MAY 2010
The Undeforestation Project was started by two Brooklyn based photographers and best friends, Summer Moore and Marissa Macias
In 2010 the artists journey together to create a artful photographic book of the Amazon. With this book they hope to capture the rainforest as it has yet to be seen, and through text give key insight on the importance of taking steps now to preserve the land. Undeforestation is proud to be working with The Rainforest Foundation US. All proceeds from book sales will be donated to their important organization, which has been advocating the protection of Indigenous tribes and forestry for over 20 years.
Many contributors have donated lodging and supplies, making this exciting project possible. If you would like to contribute in any way, please contact us at info@undeforestation.org
The Rainforest Foundation US has generously set up a donations account where you can make a tax deductible donation to support the project (link below). We can't express enough gratitude to those who have helped us thus far, and to those who may help in the future. Each contributor will be individually credited and thanked in the publication.
Thank you for your interest and contributions!!
